Unfortunately, several improvisors have tested positive for COVID-19. Because of the numbers as well as the short time for anyone to recover, we’ve decided to cancel the BBQ .

We are all saddened by this, and hopefully we can reschedule towards the end of summer or early fall.

It’s time for a Santa Barbara Improv BBQ Potluck!

Thanks to COVID, it’s been years since we’ve had one of these, so here’s a reminder of how it works as well as the deets for this one:

We start at noon at Shoreline Park and go until we’re all sick of each other (nominally 6 pm).

It’s a potluck, so bring whatever strikes your fancy. SB Improv will get the grill going and bring things to grill (chicken, burgers, hotdogs, and something veg). We’ll also bring plates, napkins, and utensils.

The event is open to anyone who’s ever taken a class as well as their families. So, it’s a great chance to meet the newest crop of players as well as reconnect with old-timers.

There are no official activities planned, but folks bring stuff and various shenanigans will ensue.
