About the Teacher

Mariangelica Duque was born in Colombia, where she started performing professionally since she was 10 years old, in Television, Film and Theater. She encountered Clowning in 2008 through a collective of artists that explored “Imagination in Action” as a way to counteract the social impacts of war and poverty. She co-wrote and performed on “Cicle”, a performance that mixed Theater, Street Performance and Circus.

She also worked as a Screenwriter for more than 15 years in the Hispanic Television, and now works as a Positive Psychology and Play coach.
